Everyone really enjoyed the monkfish and the osso bucco. The octopus appetizer was good too. The portion sizes are small and the selection is really limited so please review the menu in advance to make sure there's something you would like. The beef soup was a letdown. Service was excellent.
Very friendly owners running the restorant. We had seasonal and traditional four course menus. Absolutely tasty fine dining in affordable price. Highly recommendation.
We're very glad we chose this restaurant - the food was delicious, the presentation beautiful, and the service excellent. I was afraid we'd need dressier clothes, but we didn't feel out of place in dark jeans w/polo shirt. Highly recommended!
Menu is very creative and enticing. Upon arrival to the table it looks quite appetizing. Unfortunately though it is all rather average tasting - not bad but not great either. Luckily, this is reflected in the prices.
Decoration is old but not charming. Service is also OK, nothing special. The waiter was not very knowledgeable about the menu or drinks (they had to go to the back to ask what was inside the dishes).
Wonderful gem if a Viennese restaurant in the 20th district, elevated Viennese cuisine, great selection of wines. No elevator music, this is a place to enjoy a good conversation over dinner.
I walked up on a busy Monday and was seated quickly. I went for the set menu which was all excellently prepared although nothing particularly adventurous. The a la carte menu looked to have more interesting choices and I expect I'll return to try something from that in a week or two. Service was efficient, although I had the feeling there were significantly more people than they were perhaps expecting and they were a little stressed.
What a treat! Highly recommend, wonderful cooking, the Rinderbaeckchen are a absolute delight. Fantastic wine selection of locals. Take the classic 4 course menue with wine.
Lovely staff, and make sure you don't end up with locals next table, you may laugh yourself silly, and pay a heavy price next morning.

We had a very pleasant dinner, everything was excellent. The price seems appropriate given the quality.
